As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy government aviation location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents across terminals and surrounding areas. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a people-first customer experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation facility.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and direct individuals to appropriate checkpoints or contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, suspicious activity, and/or disturbances, and coordinate with site representatives and local responders as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or location contacts.
