As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with calm, customer-focused service. Requirements

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and post orders at an industrial processing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter lines, documenting observations and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor alarms, gates, and designated entry points, verifying credentials, logging entries and/or exits, and directing traffic flow per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities as directed and communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete detailed written reports and shift logs, report hazards, suspicious activity, and equipment issues, and support investigations by preserving observations and coordinating with on-site teams as needed.
