Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols at the facility.
Verify credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies for a food and beverage production environment.
Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries related to access and site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related breaches according to established procedures.
Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management, maintaining composure during high-pressure situations.
