About The Position
As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Access in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location as an Access Control Officer. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarm and access activity, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access Control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points in a Tech, Media, and/or Telecom location by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing individuals to approved areas.
- Control access to restricted areas by maintaining accurate access logs, monitoring alarms and access control systems, and reporting irregular activity to site management.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuations, medical response coordination, and incident documentation per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including doors, gates, loading areas, and perimeter points, noting and reporting conditions that may impact security-related operations.
