Join Allied Universal in a residential community where you will perform unarmed mobile patrols, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will check common areas and perimeter points, respond to resident concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly with property staff and emergency services when needed. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout the residential community, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, unsecured doors or gates, parking or access concerns, and other potential policy issues, and report findings according to site-specific requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, noise complaints, and other community disturbances as directed.
  • Complete routine documentation such as patrol activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or property management.
