Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily operations through professional communication and a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor gates, entrances, badge systems, and/or visitor logs to help support authorized access to warehouses, loading areas, and distribution operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Complete routine reports related to access activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific security-related policies.
