As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utility location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, equipment areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems as assigned, report irregular conditions, and document observations in required logs and reports.
Control access for employees, contractors, and visitors by following entry procedures, verifying identification when required, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
