About The Position

The security team at Baptist Health Corbin is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and assets. This unit operates 24/7 and is integral to ensuring the hospital functions smoothly while addressing emergencies, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to incidents swiftly and effectively. The Security Officer makes scheduled rounds throughout the facility and parking areas. The Officer will assist all employees, visitors, and patients in security-related matters. The Officer provides security for personnel and property on the hospital campus. All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Some security education or experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a Taser course within 6 months and maintain certification.
• CPI Certification required (Hospital will provide training).

Responsibilities
