About The Position

As a Security Officer - Full Time Patrols in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and respond to situations with a calm, service-first approach. Requirements

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors while following site-specific, security-related procedures and access protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, building perimeter, parking areas, and/or designated tech spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or other site systems when assigned, and communicate unusual conditions via radio, phone, and/or written notifications.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and/or policy exceptions, and assist with enforcing site rules related to badges, deliveries, and authorized access.
