About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties appropriate to an automotive location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor facility access, verify credentials, and document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site policies.
Support emergency response activities, traffic and parking oversight, and visitor processing while following post orders and client-directed protocols for the location.
