Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol

Job Description As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol in Frackville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with on-site teams, and provide helpful customer service to drivers, associates, and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, drivers, and/or employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage; working conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify identification and/or shipping documentation when assigned, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity per site procedures.
- Complete written and/or electronic reports, including shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations during shift turnovers.
