About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support people with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Baton certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or supervisors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, assist with directing visitors and/or commuters, and help to support orderly movement throughout the location in alignment with posted rules and procedures.
  • Communicate with transit personnel, visitors, and/or public agency representatives regarding security-related concerns, service needs, and/or incidents requiring follow-up.
