About The Position

As a Security Officer Full-Time Patrol Unarmed in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Possess 1+ year of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, or policy concerns according to site guidelines.
• Support workplace protocols by assisting with deliveries, directing visitors, and providing information during routine operations and/or during unusual events that may impact the location.
