As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Route in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver’s license will be required

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, access points, and/or the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards according to site protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, completing incident reports, and following post orders related to restricted areas, equipment zones, and/or emergency procedures.
