Job Description As a Security Officer - Full-Time Mobile Patrol in Macon, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control activity. You will support people-first service through clear communication and professionalism. At Allied Universal, you will work as part of a reliable, agile, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unsafe behaviors.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift turnover notes, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
