Security Officer - Full Time EMT Firefighter
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Fairless Hills, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated manufacturing and industrial areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- EMT certification is required.
- Previous firefighting experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual conditions.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while maintaining a visible presence.
- Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
- Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
