About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Unit in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, baggage claim, entry points, and perimeter locations as assigned.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted or controlled areas through visible presence and routine verification procedures.
Support transportation location operations by assisting with crowd management, wayfinding, and orderly movement during busy travel periods, delays, and/or service disruptions.
