As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support shipping and warehouse operations with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to issues, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, putting people first and acting with integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, assisting with controlled entry and exit in accordance with post orders.
Observe shipping and receiving operations and staging areas, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, alarms, and/or disturbances, and request additional assistance as needed.
Operate and monitor security-related systems and equipment such as CCTV, alarm panels, radios, and electronic reporting tools as assigned.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, documenting patrol observations and actions taken.
Perform routine checks of gates, doors, dock positions, and key control areas to help maintain compliance with site procedures.
Provide directions and general assistance to employees, contractors, and delivery personnel, supporting orderly operations at the location.
