About The Position

The Security Officer position at St Joseph's Health and Trinity Health is responsible for enforcing security-related policies and procedures to provide a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, patients, and physical properties. The role includes performing other duties as assigned to assist in achieving overall division and hospital goals. The position requires a valid NYS driver's license and includes a weekend and holiday rotation in the day shift schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Requirements

• NYS certification as a Security Guard required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years security experience highly desirable.
• BLS/CPR certification and first aid training required.

Nice To Haves

• College level coursework in criminal justice is a definite plus.

Benefits
