As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, support access control and badging, and help monitor entrances and lobby activity. You will document security-related concerns, communicate clearly with property staff, and deliver a strong customer experience. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial office front desk by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and directing guests to appropriate destinations while supporting a professional lobby experience.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, note unusual activity, and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or local responders as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts when possible and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete daily reports and shift logs, track key and access card activity as assigned, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers.
