As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control, monitor cameras and alarm activity, and document security-related events with clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A Guard Card and/or security-related license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and employees at a front desk location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or appointment status, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems as assigned, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Support a professional financial institution environment by answering phones, coordinating deliveries and service providers, and communicating clearly with employees, vendors, and guests.
