As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will greet visitors, manage access and visitor logs, monitor cameras and alarms, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will be the welcoming first point of contact while helping to reduce incidents through strong attention to detail and service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk to help manage access by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting arriving responders as directed.
  • Complete security-related reports and shift logs, communicate key information during shift transitions, and support administrative tasks such as answering phones and coordinating deliveries according to site procedures.
