As a Security Officer - Full-Time Weekdays Front Desk in Carmel, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a financial institution location, providing a welcoming presence and supporting security-related operations. You will assist visitors, monitor access, and offer outstanding customer service while helping to deter incidents through your attentiveness. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and/or employees at the front desk, providing a professional first point of contact within the financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Follow security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the location.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities at the front desk, communicating with appropriate personnel and authorities when required.
