As a Security Officer Front Desk in Eaton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. At a dynamic technology location, our Front Desk Professionals serve as the welcoming first point of contact, helping to manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related needs through clear communication and outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a technology-focused environment.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, checking identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and helping to direct guests, employees, and contractors according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, and support front desk operations with clear communication and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual events.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by observing lobby and entry areas, reporting concerns promptly, and following established post orders and client site procedures.
