Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location where you will greet employees and visitors, support access procedures, and screen people and items as required. You will stay visible, conduct routine checks of assigned areas, and communicate clearly to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering a people-first customer service experience. Requirements

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech and media location.
  • Screen and verify access for employees, contractors, and guests using approved identification checks, visitor management processes, and package screening protocols as required by the site.
  • Monitor entry points and nearby areas for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence and communicating site rules.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, completing required reports and noting maintenance concerns and/or policy issues for follow-up.
