As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will provide outstanding customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents within dynamic financial and commercial real estate locations. You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, maintaining a welcoming presence and supporting a secure environment. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, and tenants in a professional manner at the front desk of the location.
  • Monitor access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the premises.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures to address security-related matters and respond to incidents or emergencies as needed.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with building management, employees, and/or emergency personnel during incidents or critical situations.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, or maintenance issues according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with building procedures as appropriate for financial institutions and commercial real estate environments.
