As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at the location, providing a welcoming presence and supporting access control. You will help to deter security-related incidents through attentive monitoring and exceptional customer service, while utilizing your computer or tablet skills. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and manage visitor and contractor logs as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance as needed.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters at the front desk.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
