Requirements

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for visitors, vendors, and/or employees entering the logistics and distribution location, verifying identification and providing directions as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in the front desk area to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor and/or employee check-ins and check-outs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals at the location, providing customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns.
• Carry out security-related procedures as outlined in site-specific policies and procedures, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
