Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as a Front Desk Officer, serving as the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and vendors. You will support a welcoming lobby presence, manage check-ins and access requests, and document security-related activity with clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Staff the front desk to help manage access control, greet and direct visitors, issue visitor badges and/or temporary credentials, and notify tenants of arrivals per site procedures.
  • Monitor alarms, CCTV systems, and/or other building systems from the front desk, and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating communications with building management and emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and pass-downs, and assist Allied Universal leadership with administrative tasks related to front desk operations and security-related coverage.
