Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Driver in Palm Bay, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents, and you will deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
- Monitor access to the facility, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site protocols.
- Assist with visitor management, including issuing badges and providing information or directions as needed.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay important information and/or escalate concerns.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to site procedures.
