This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing temporary visitor passes, and directing guests to the appropriate destinations.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras, and/or access control alarms; document and report unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts such as property management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports including visitor entries, incident documentation, and shift activity, and communicate key information during shift turnover.
