About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Driver in Palm Bay, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the facility, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site protocols.
Assist with visitor management, including issuing badges and providing information or directions as needed.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay important information and/or escalate concerns.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to site procedures.
