As a Security Officer - Front Desk CRE Full-Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will serve as the first point of contact in a dynamic commercial real estate location. Your role will focus on monitoring entry points, assisting visitors, and providing outstanding customer service while helping to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, guests, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the front desk.
- Monitor access control at the entry point, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed at the front desk.
- Serve as a point of contact for individuals entering the building, answering questions and/or directing them as appropriate.
- Follow emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
