As a Security Officer - Front Desk CRE in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming face for all visitors and tenants. Your primary responsibilities include managing access, monitoring entry points, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and personnel at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner and alert appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the entrance to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unwanted behavior.
  • Receive and process deliveries as required, notifying recipients and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, following established protocols and providing information to first responders when appropriate.
