About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Lincoln, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a welcoming presence while supporting security-related procedures. Your role involves managing access control, monitoring alarm panels, and assisting with visitor management. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors, tenants, and employees at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous presence in a commercial real estate environment.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor and contractor activity, as well as any security-related incidents.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any security-related concerns or unusual activity.
  • Support emergency response activities from the front desk position, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions, directing individuals, and assisting with access to the location as appropriate.
