Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Dayton, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting guests and assisting employees while helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and professionalism. Your role involves providing outstanding customer service, clear communication, and upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity in a dynamic, people-first environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner and check identification as required by site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with general inquiries at the front desk.
Monitor access to the building and help to deter unauthorized entry through observation and adherence to site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
Maintain accurate logs and/or records of visitor and employee entry and exit, as well as any security-related incidents.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters.
Follow emergency response procedures as outlined in site-specific policies, providing guidance to occupants when appropriate.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the location.
