As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and professionalism. Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, including communicating with appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support building operations by providing information and assistance to tenants, guests, and vendors as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior through visible presence and professional conduct at the front desk.
