As a Front Desk professional in a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and supporting tenants with exceptional customer service. You will monitor access, respond to inquiries, and assist with security-related matters, helping to deter incidents while maintaining a professional presence. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and issuing temporary credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and coordinating with Allied Universal and location management.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff, addressing inquiries and providing information as appropriate.
