Requirements

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by following designated security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access and verify identification of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Maintain accurate records of visitor and employee check-ins and check-outs as required by site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal procedures.
Communicate promptly and professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and/or requests.
Support emergency response activities at the location as directed by operational guidelines and site management.
Operate security-related technology and/or equipment such as access control systems, surveillance cameras, and communication devices as required for the front desk post.
