Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related procedures for a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor directions, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist employees, guests, and vendors, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations through established channels.
  • Support front desk operations by maintaining accurate logs, observing lobby activity, and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent presence and attention to detail.
