Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional in a commercial real estate location, where you will greet visitors, monitor access, support badge and entry procedures, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this visible role, you will help promote a welcoming environment while supporting security-related operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting entrants, checking credentials, managing visitor logs, and communicating with building staff regarding approved access and security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting activity and reporting unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, receive deliveries, and support lobby operations in a professional manner consistent with front desk responsibilities.
  • Observe activity in the lobby and other assigned entrance areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report security-related issues to building management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
