Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized individuals in accordance with established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
Maintain accurate records of visitor and employee check-ins and check-outs, and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with communication and coordination between building staff, management, and/or emergency responders as required.
Support Allied Universal in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the location.
Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings while performing assigned front desk security-related duties.
