Requirements

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, employees, and guests at the front desk, providing excellent customer service in a tech and media-focused location.
Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and managing visitor logs as per site-specific policies.
Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures, following established protocols for the site.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, employees, and visitors regarding site rules and access procedures.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with building management and first responders.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
