Job Description As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols and visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide clear communication and customer service to staff and visitors. In this role, you will be part of a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping maintain an orderly environment throughout your assigned area.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, calling for assistance as needed, and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Control access to designated areas by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as required, directing visitors, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Complete detailed written reports and activity logs, communicate observations to site contacts and/or public partners, and assist with investigations by preserving observations and available information.
