About The Position

As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with tenants and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by site policies.
Collaborate with property management and/or local authorities as directed in response to incidents or emergencies.
Support access control procedures and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
