Job Description As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document observations using site technology. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity in lobbies, ATM areas, and other customer-facing spaces, assisting with identification checks, visitor directions, and/or policy reminders as required by the location.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, including noting irregular conditions, completed actions, and follow-up items.
