About The Position

As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol Rounds in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced automotive location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. You will also provide strong customer service, clear communication, and professional presence while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or sales location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing detailed observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production and/or showroom areas, parking lots, and perimeter zones; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in, and directing deliveries and service providers to designated areas.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
