About The Position

As a Security Officer Foot and Driving Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access expectations, and appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
  • Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, common areas, and exterior spaces for security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance-related issues, and document observations in required reports.
  • Support daily property operations by assisting with visitor direction, observing access activity, and following post orders related to after-hours access, deliveries, and tenant-related requests.
