About The Position

As a Security Officer Foot and Driving Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access expectations, and appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, common areas, and exterior spaces for security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance-related issues, and document observations in required reports.
Support daily property operations by assisting with visitor direction, observing access activity, and following post orders related to after-hours access, deliveries, and tenant-related requests.
