As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, support access control and badge checks, and help to spot and report security-related concerns. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and deliver service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, drivers and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office and exterior areas, including perimeter checks and checks of doors, gates and loading docks. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, managing visitor sign-in, issuing temporary badges as directed and directing foot and vehicle traffic to approved areas.
• Operate monitoring equipment such as CCTV, alarm panels and radios, document observations and incidents, and complete required reports and logs per site policy.
