As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail and mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, tenants, and/or staff with directions and general inquiries within the retail/mall environment.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other undesirable behavior.
Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
